The Islamic Gallery at the British Museum explores the wonders of the Islamic World. We designed the marketing campaign and invitations for the two private viewings.
The design aims to surprise and create a sense of marvel looking at close details of the collection. The invitation envelope unfolds into a poster showcasing a key object of the collection and allows the readers to experience its details. At the heart of the envelope, a thick, black card embellished with gold foiling gives to the guest all the event details. We used the same approach for the main poster campaign, on-site signage and the London bus advertising campaign.
